TAKE ACTION | This Week: Congressman Bob Gibbs Search Party

Congressman Bob Gibbs (OH-7) has yet to agree to host a public town hall, so the Knox County Democratic Party‘s Activist Network is encouraging Knox County Democrats to participate in this event, which is slated for Saturday, February 25th, 10:30am, at 110 Central Plaza South, in Canton, OH.

According to KCDP Activist Network’s Action Alert, “The ‘search party’ tactics mirror some of the organizing strategies that we have been seeing as implemented across the state and the country in terms of getting the attention of our elected representatives. Regardless of whether or not the Congressman joins us this Saturday, we will be there to make our voices heard. In order to have the most impact, the most effect, and the most influence, it’s time to show up.”

For specific questions about the event, please email Drew Silverthorn. Otherwise, take a few moments this week to “invite” Congressman Gibbs to this event by calling one of his offices, as listed below:

Washington, D.C. (202) 225-6265
Canton, OH (330) 737-1631
Ashland, OH (419) 207-0650
