It’s time to contact our representatives and advocate for no repeal of the Affordable Care Act.
The House is now considering specific legislation to repeal and replace the ACA. Now is the time to be contacting Representative Gibbs to urge him to vote against the proposed replacement. The current proposal will hurt low and moderate income families, help the rich, and shift costs to the states. The House is also rushing this legislation through prior to an analysis by the Congressional Budget Office which would include both the cost of the plan and the number of people who would likely lose coverage.
