Saturday, April 1, 12:30 – 1 pm. Join the Gibbs Watch group to say “no” to budget cuts that eliminate or severely reduce funding for needed agencies and programs, like the National Institutes of Health (NIH), which provides critical support for research across the country. That’s this week’s theme for Signs on the Square, where concerned Knox County citizens gather to speak up on pending legislation. Bring your own sign (it’s April Fool’s Day, btw) or just show up. The event takes place on Mount Vernon’s Public Square. Gibbs Watch was organized for citizens of Ohio’s seventh district to follow the actions of our Congressperson Bob Gibbs.
