Witness for Social Justice will meet on Wednesday, June 7, 3:30 – 5:00 pm, featuring Matt Hellman, executive director of New Directions Domestic Abuse Shelter and Rape Crisis Center. The group will recap their attendance at the recent child abuse trial in Mount Vernon (note: the jury did not deliver a verdict) and discuss the power of our democratic right to be a witness, as well as what action outcomes should follow.  The meeting will take place at Hoehn-Saric House on the Kenyon College campus, 207 Chase Ave, Gambier, OH 43022. Those interested in joining the group are welcome to attend. During the meeting, folks can sign up for t-shirts.
