The Diversity Coalition of Knox County is committed to fostering understanding, communication and respect among all people, including those of different races, religions, ages, gender identity or expression, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, national origins, sexual orientations, medical conditions or disabilities, and marital, veteran, economic, political or family statuses.  The Coalition believes in capitalizing on the strength emanating from these differences to reach the full potential of the collective community.

We will work toward developing opportunities that promote access, respect, inclusiveness, and community in all of Knox County’s living, working, and learning environments through a variety of projects and programs focused on education and advocacy. The Coalition is open to all members of the community.
