Witness for Social Justice in Knox County (WSJ) is dedicated to public discourse and promotion of good government for our community through democratic means. As citizens it is our democratic right to observe trials and cases that come before the courts in Knox County. Through observation we can bring public discourse, hold our government and judicial systems more accountable to the people of this county, and educate ourselves to be better citizens in the community. We strive to shed light on inequality and indifference towards those of us in our community who are marginalized. Additionally, we seek to serve social justice by acting as a nexus through which social justice groups operating in the county and state can share information, articulate goals, and collaborate to accomplish our aims.
